How to Pay for Claude API Access with Crypto
Choose a plan, check the payment network, and connect your coding tools after settlement.
Know what you are buying
A Claude website subscription and API access are different purchases. OpenLimits crypto checkout buys an OpenLimits access period. It does not activate a claude.ai subscription or add credits to Anthropic Console. Check that your tool supports a custom endpoint and that your plan includes the model you need before paying.
Choose your access period
Review current pricing and register with an email address you can access. Select the plan that fits how long you expect to use it. Crypto payments are one-time purchases rather than automatic card renewals. Follow the amount and currency on the current invoice, not a screenshot of an earlier quote.
Check the asset and network
Choose a currency offered at checkout, then match both the asset and network in your wallet. The same token can exist on different networks. Copy the invoice address carefully, account for withdrawal fees, and follow the displayed amount and expiry. Do not send a small test payment unless the invoice instructions explicitly support it.
Wait for payment confirmation
Broadcasting a wallet transaction does not mean access is active yet. Keep the payment page available and wait for confirmation. If the invoice expires or the status does not advance, contact support with the order reference and transaction hash. Never share a seed phrase or private key, and do not send another payment simply because the first is still pending.
Connect your tool
Once access is active, configure your client with your OpenLimits API key and the documented endpoint. Select an eligible model from the catalog and try a short request. An authentication error is a reason to check your key and endpoint, not to pay again. Keep the key outside source control.
